9 Free Resources to Celebrate Your Daily Sunrise

You may be experiencing the “darkest night” and rightly so with the news’ bombardment of everything COVID-19. I, too, know these moments.

That’s why upon waking with a writer’s mind, I meditated in the Theta state. The answer to the question, “What do I need to know now for my best and Highest good was:

 “Be a channel; be of sacred service. Don't try to be the superstar or media darling.”

Ego immediately woke up with the disturbing thoughts of “No way! You can teach writing classes online or offer Facebook Live’s. This is your time to shine!”

True. I could.
In 2014 I taught ten online courses long before the boom of online courses.

But not now. 

Not today.

Instead, when I told Ego, “Thanks, but no thanks; you can go away now,” the memories returned of a conversation in 2008 with the Incan shaman, Don Jorge Luis Delgado. We both served as co-leaders for a weeklong church trip in his native Peru.

On the last day with our group of 32,  Don Jorge and I sat on a stone bench in silence observing everyone, one by one, spend quiet time facing the Puerta de ArmaMuru, a stone portal; it was an unusual place that he discovered as a “Star Gate” years earlier.  

Whispering, Delgado turned to me and asked if I knew my purpose. 

“No,” I replied out of curiosity to hear what he thought the answer might be.

He bestowed the title of “chacaruna" --a bridge keeper--on me with the challenge of helping people express their authentic power and messages. He then pulled out a majestic, ebony condor feather from his shamanic fan with a jeweled, silver hilt saying, “This is for you.”

Yes, right now it might feel dark outside and maybe inside your thoughts--and you can choose to enjoy this time of staying at home, self-isolating, shuttering-in-place, and self-quarantining.
